Garlic

Garlic is widely used around the world for its pungent flavor as a seasoning or condiment. The bulb is most commonly eaten, but the leaves and flowers are also edible and have a similar flavor to the bulb. Garlic is extremely versatile and is used in almost all types of cooking. Apart from its excellent taste, garlic is also great because of its hardiness against disease and ease of cultivation.

Garlic has also been used for traditional medicine in diverse cultures such as in Egypt, Japan, China, Rome, and Greece.
